Story
Welcome to Kagami, an ordinary town on the outskirts of Tokyo. Minato, accompanied by his mother and younger sister Mirai, has come to visit today.
However, Minato's purpose extends beyond mere enjoyment—he is on a secret mission! Somewhere in this town resides his father who became estranged from the family after a difficult divorce. Minato intends to find him because there are important matters his father needs to know.
After an exhaustive search, Minato finally discovers a clue to his father's whereabouts. But it appears that this quest will not be straightforward since the clue he uncovers is a cryptic notebook left behind by his father, aptly named "The Seven Mysteries."
With his father's notebook as his guide, Minato embarks on a perilous journey. However, this is not a journey through space—rather, it is a journey through time! Much to his amazement, Minato finds himself transported 33 years into the past, to the very day when his mother and father first met!
Will Minato's odyssey into the past mend his family, reshape the future, and alter a tragic destiny?
The only way to unravel these mysteries is to join him on this extraordinary adventure!
Note: The Kids We Were offers a complete free-to-play experience from beginning to end. You can enjoy the entire story without spending any money!
